Farm Fare: East Hill Farm Granola

Are you missing the delicious aroma and crunch of East Hill Farm Granola? By popular demand, we are sharing our recipe for you to make at home.

  • 4 cups whole oats
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup canola oil
  • 1 tsp hulled sesame seeds
  • ½ cup shredded coconut
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • ½ cup sliced almonds
  • 1 cup craisins
  • 1 cup raisins
  1. Preheat the oven
Set your oven to 400°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients
In a big bowl, combine the oats, brown sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, salt, sesame seeds, coconut, walnuts, and almonds. Stir until everything is evenly mixed.
  3. Add the wet ingredients
Pour in the oil and vanilla. Stir well so all the oats are coated.
  4. Spread on the pan
Spread the mixture out in an even layer on your baking sheet. Press it down lightly if you’d like some clusters.
  5. Bake
Bake for 30 minutes. Give it a stir about halfway through, and bake another 15 minutes until it’s golden brown.
  6. Remove from oven
Mix in the craisins and raisins
  7. Cool completely
Let the granola cool on the pan. It will crisp up as it sits.
  8. Store
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to 4 weeks.
