A Moment of Reflection

As the days grow colder, and the sun sets earlier and earlier on the farm, it is hard not to reflect on this past year and begin to embrace the joys and sorrows of 2020.

Although this year has proven to be difficult due to the pandemic, one thing we know for certain is that the feelings of community and togetherness can outlast anything. We have seen firsthand what this farm community means to so many people, and understand why so many call this place “home.” Home, as many of us know, is not just a structure, but the people and heart of a place. We have had the privilege of greeting many new faces at the farm this year, and have witnessed new guests experience the magic of being in a place that can literally make their stress melt away. Although we have missed seeing some familiar faces this year, it is comforting to know that we’ll see each other again. You’ll always have a home here at the farm. We will be here, welcoming you with open arms, and warm fritters.

So as the barn animals don their winter coats, and the smell of cookies comes wafting from the kitchen, let’s all take a moment to count our blessings, and know that even in difficult times we always have each other.

We’ll see you along the way,

Your Farm Family

Beautiful, Jen. The farm will always feel like home to me. To all Facebook families who have not had the pleasure of experiencing the Inn at East Hill Farm, add it to your must do list. You will love it!
