East Hill Farm Spring Moos
East Hill Farm Spring Moos
Think spring!
East Hill Farm’s barnyard is hopping with baby bunnies and 10 new lambs. Kid goats will begin to be born in late February and piglets are expected in April. Chirping chicks will be arriving throughout the spring months. The farmers have been very busy keeping everyone warm and well fed through the winter and are looking forward to getting the animals into spring pastures. We hope to begin our horseback riding program in mid-April, depending on what Mother Nature throws our way.
We have exciting farm stay experiences planned for the spring and can’t wait to share them with you. We have all ages covered from fun filled family stays to an adventure filled Grown Up Farm Camp.
Take a peek at some fun getaways we have planned for early spring.
Have you always wanted to work behind the scene in the barn at East Hill Farm? This is the weekend for you! Throughout this hands-on weekend, you and the kids will participate in activities such as animal husbandry lessons, scores of farm chores, backyard chicken keeping workshop, pig snorting contest, a kidding experience, feeding the animals and much more.
Enjoy some fun on the farm during your school break. There will be daily activities including cow milking, arts & crafts, campfire with s’mores, and a ping pong tournament. Nighttime entertainment includes BINGO, Contradance, Night Walk and Magic Show! Stay any number of nights during this week of springtime fun on the Farm.
Add a fun cooking class to your East Hill Farm weekend. Instructors from The Culinary Playground will be on hand to teach your kids how to cook! Kids will be introduced to kitchen safety, food preparation and cooperation while participating in a fun and creative lesson. All of this, along with a typical fun filled Farm weekend with lots of activities for all ages and a barn full of spring baby animals.
