It is with sad hearts that we tell you of the passing of Chloe. She died peacefully of old age on April 22 with both Sheri and Jim by her side.
Sheri and Jim first met Chloe in November of 2001. They brought her home in early 2002. She soon became everyone’s favorite greeter at East Hill Farm. Over the years she played “catch and drop” on the front stairs with more kids and adults then we could count. Her focus and intensity on a tennis ball was most remarkable. She trained many people in Chloe’s way of playing ball!
Although she was never formally trained in sheep herding, she did help around the farm when critters got loose. Mostly, she was there to greet guests, young and old, and to provide hours of entertainment for kids while their parents enjoyed dinner or visiting with friends.
Chloe was a true and loyal dog to Sheri and Jim and will be deeply missed.
You were a Good Girl, Chloe!
