Ellie!

Ellie, our black and white Border Collie, has been at East Hill Farm for a little over a year now and we absolutely love her company. She’s the perfect addition to our farm family, and she really wanted us to tell you all about her! Lots of guests ask us what Ellie’s day is like so we want to share with you some of her favorite things to do when she is at work.

Number one on her list of office break activities is playing in the sandbox! Nothing beats playing (digging) in the sand with a spectacular view of Mt. Monadnock in the background!

When she is not on duty in the office, she really likes to go on long walks on our many hiking trails! Her favorite trail is the blue trail because there are so many chipmunks and squirrels to chase. When hiking in the winter, Ellie loves to bound through the snow and chase sticks.

 

After going on her walk, Ellie loves to pick up a treat, made right here in our kitchen.

After all that playing and exercising, and with her tummy full of homemade biscuits, Ellie loves to snuggle up and take a little nap in the office. Later she’ll wake up to lots of love from our office staff and guests! Lucky dog!
