5 Top Activities to Accompany Your Farm Stay: Summer Edition

School is out and kids are excited to be on summer vacation. The air is warmer, the days last longer, and cool summer evenings host fireflies and backyard bonfires. Around the farm, we have horseback riding in full session, busy vacationers filling our rooms, and a lively recreation schedule. As new and returning guests visit our farm each week, they all take advantage of our on-property activities and opportunities in their own ways. Some guests also like to visit our local area to explore what our neck of the woods has to offer off-property as well.

Here is a list of our favorite summer spots:

1. Granite Roots Brewery

Saturday and Wednesday cocktail parties have you ready to sample other adult beverages? Granite Roots Brewery is a nano-brewery located right in Troy, New Hampshire about five minutes from the farm. They offer tastings in an intimate setting with a close-knit staff that are all involved in the actual brewing process. They craft traditional beers along with brews that have a hint of fruit from their family farm, Monadnock Berries. Love the tasting? Take home a growler to share with friends.

I like East Hill Farm as a destination resort. Once I get there I don’t have to leave for anything unless I run out of wine..
