5 Top Activities to Accompany Your Farm Stay: Fall Edition
As summer starts to wind down, the air gets cooler. Cozy sweaters start coming out from the back of the bureau drawers. Pumpkin spiced coffee, beer, muffins, and just about every other treat imaginable start to hit the shelves. At the farm, the leaves turn and seem to set Mount Monadnock on fire and the smell of homemade cider donuts fills the dining room. The animals start to grow thicker coats for the cold nights ahead.
While the Inn has several organized activities on-property during fall family weekends, here are some of our favorite off-property places to explore while you’re here:
1. Prime Roast & Brewbakers
Are you a coffee aficionado? Both Prime Roast and Brewbakers, located on Main Street in Keene, have some fun, fall drinks to try. What’s better? Both shops roast their own beans! If you’re interested in people watching, you can stay in the shops and watch passersby. If you’re a more active coffee drinker, you can explore the many locally owned shops on Main Street while sipping a new favorite beverage.
