BOGGY MEADOW FARM — Visit the cheese plant that is located in the original 18th century barn and farmhouse at Boggy Meadow in Walpole, NH. Taste their all-natural Farmstead cheese made from raw milk from the farm's herd of over 200 Holsteins.
PETERBORO BASKET COMPANY — For over a century and a half, the Peterboro Basket Company has crafted the world’s finest handmade baskets from its home in historic Peterborough. Shop in the factory outlet and see how these baskets are crafted.
APPLE ORCHARDS — There are several local orchards that offer apple picking and local produce.
MARIPOSA MUSEUM — A hands on museum for children of all ages with artifacts from around the world. $5.00 per person.
COLL’S SUGAR HOUSE is 6 miles from the Inn. If you've always wanted to see how that great tasting New Hampshire maple syrup is made this is where you want to go. Sample maple syrup products while you watch the demonstration on how the syrup is made. There is a gift shop to purchase maple syrup and other products made here. Only available in March.
CATHEDRAL OF THE PINES is located in Rindge, New Hampshire. The Cathedral is open from May through October and is only 20 minutes from the Inn at East Hill Farm. A visit to the Cathedral includes a guided hour tour with a history of the Cathedral and an hour for free time to spend in the gift shop, in the museum, or taking in the beautiful scenery around you. $110.00 per bus group. 603-899-3300
SMITH'S CHEESE FACTORY is 25 minutes away, located in Winchendon, Massachusetts. There is no charge and is open Thursday and Friday in the spring and Monday through Friday in the fall. In addition to the Gouda Cheese the factory is known for, they also carry many other cheeses and smoked meats. 1-800-700-9974
NEW HAMPSHIRE STATE LIQUOR OUTLETS — No matter which direction you come to East Hill Farm from, your group will pass a New Hampshire State Liquor Outlet.
