An Authentic New Hampshire Farm Vacation

Located at the base of Mount Monadnock in tranquil New Hampshire, the Inn at East Hill Farm maintains its tradition as a destination resort where families and friends can meet in a relaxed atmosphere that promotes true re-creation. Rooms are available in the main building or in any of several well-appointed cottages and houses. Wholesome and delicious meals are home-cooked and served family style. Specialties include homemade breads, cookies, fritters and hearty country breakfasts. Youngsters may enjoy the adventure of collecting the eggs they eat.

No matter what the season, there is always something to do at the farm, including: boating, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, water skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, and swimming indoors or outdoors. If vigorous activity is not on your agenda, there are plenty of comfortable and inviting spaces for reading a good book or having a quiet conversation. Activities are planned specifically for children — crafts, campfires, and games among them. Our younger guests also have a chance to feed our animals, help the farmers with barn chores, and milk the cow or goat.

The farm caters really well to families with young kids: lots of toddler friendly food options, pony rides, step stools in the bathrooms etc. We enjoyed the fresh bread with dinner and unlimited tea/coffee.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had a wonderful time this weekend at the farm! The food was delicious and plentiful. You definitely won't be hungry! The animals were adorable and my toddler loved all the animal based activities, particularly the pony ride.

Shout out to Jordan, who was so kind and genuinely seemed to enjoy talking with our son. She was very considerate and attentive in her service!

Another shout out to Paige in the office who was happy to answer my questions, and also did her part to ensure I was able to order and have the delicious wheat bread to take home!

My only really complaint was the rooms were musty and lacked the modern touches you'd expect for the price you pay. The hot tub also looked like something out of horror story, but the easy fix was I just didn't utilize it.

Overall, this is a great family getaway. Plenty of child based activities. Can't beat the food. Every member of the staff was nothing but kind and patient. And the whole campus was easy and safe to walk/maneuver. Lots of reasons to come back again!

I’ve been coming to Inn at East Hill Farm for many years — first as a kid with my family, cousins, and friends, and now I’m lucky enough to bring my own kids here with our friends and their children. It’s incredibly special to be able to share a place that meant so much to me growing up with the next generation.

The hospitality, service, friendliness, home-cooked food, and family atmosphere are truly second to none. The schedule of meals and activities is perfect for families — the kids can run around, explore, and enjoy the farm and activities while the adults can actually relax knowing they’re safe and having a great time.

More than anything, East Hill Farm feels like a home away from home. It’s always nice to see some of the same families and faces year after year and know that they’re building their own traditions here, too. Our kids now look forward to our annual farm trip just as much as I did when I was their age, and that has become one of our favorite traditions.

The best compliment I can give is that so much hasn’t changed since I was a kid — and that’s exactly how it should be. It’s rare to find a place that can create the same kind of memories for your children that it created for you.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Nice vacation. We went for a week and enjoyed the relaxed pace of the resort. My boys enjoyed the kids activities, especially the dodgeball. The food was very good and cookies were available 24x7. Verizon service was almost non-existent.
