Summer Orientation 2015!

On June 2, we gathered many of our new and current staff together to get ready for summer! Throughout orientation we were focused on reminding our current staff and introducing our new staff to what it is that makes East Hill Farm so special.

We were all treated to a very special Channel 47 News Farmcast by our own Rebecca Randall and Patricia Perkins of WEHF TV! (See if you can figure out their real identities) The ladies created a farmtastic and hilarious look back at the history of East Hill Farm from the 1700s to today. You will enjoy this video, I am sure. Look for these special ladies when you are here throughout the year. You never know when they may show up to film another action shot or to interview you!

Of course, our employees are one of the most important reasons EHF is the fun, educational, relaxing, inviting, adventurous and unique placed that it is.

Tennis anyone?

After department meetings, the staff headed out on our “Usie” photo scavenger hunt. In case you are not familiar with this term, it is a group selfie! They were given a list of 10 places to go and activities to do at various places around the property. There were 4-6 people on each team. Each person had to be seen in the usie photo to earn credit.

Always wear your life vest in the boats!

It was great fun as staff members ran around to the tennis court, cow barn, paddle boats to the chicken coop and recreation room. There were even some staff members photo bombing the groups!

Look, we found eggs!

We hope you are looking forward to your summer vacation on the Farm as much as we are looking forward to hosting you!

30 years of the most wonderful memories with family and many close friends. all started by a chance Columbus Day Weekend in 1982. Even now, when I am up around Monadnock I feel like I’m home.
